Clone Pod 'upgrade'

Not what you're thinking, probably.

Emag the cloning tube directly to turn it into a shambling meat factory.

Aggressive grab a body, alive or not, straight into the tube to begin processing it into a shambling meat goop.

If the body didn't have a client in it, then the shambling meat monster just uses killer tomato ai and considers its creator a friendly.

If the body had a client in it, then they get given objectives to aid their creator, also MEAT.


The cloning.dmi already has sprites for it:

Don't aid creator. Just make them hostile to everything, give them permanent Hallus or Drone vision so they can't distuingish people and everyone looks like Carp or something.

it can spit out a gibbering wreck or the SS13 equivalent of a tzeentchian horror.

Honestly cloning should have a chance to fuck you up without upgrades.

It does. It can give you a random bad genetics power, and a random good genetics power if upgraded.

This must be a thing:
seems well balanced
adds ANOTHER buff to medical traitor
and can easily make sure your target is never cloned again.

What, since when is medical tator good? Compared to Sci, Eng and Detective traitors Medical is quite bad, unless you have chemistry access and no one is watching or you can quietly morphine your target.

If I am unmistaken, emagging a clone pod gibs whoever is inside of it. Medical can be decent as a traitor as you can easily deal with your victims and not many people will question what you are doing, as if they were patients.
Are you being the neighbour Mr. Rogers would've wanted you to be?

Medical's one of the few jobs where you can drag a bloody corpse around and few people bat an eye so long as you'r vaguely heading in medbay's direction.

Chef's better at that but that changes nothing, medical is pretty good. Your target will literally come to you almost dead most of the time, and if he isn't

You should be able to inject strange reagent directly into the cloning pod to turn whatever poor soul is in there into some semi sentient, freakish meat monster.

This sounds like an awesome idea. You could keep spamming out meat cubes whenever one of them die. They should do good damage but have low health.

incorrect

the bloody clone pod spirtes only occur if the pod is currently cloning somebody and it gets EMPed. the cloner is then nonfunctional until somebody ejects the pod, which spews blood everywhere and leaves no corpse to clone.
this is really really rare and in 3~ years i've done it i think twice
