Just before I was about to put up my map PR, I remembered a old, and popular idea that I put forward a while ago.

So the question is, should Assistants spawn outside of Tool Storage, all around the station? They would all spawn in public access areas, they will not spawn inside areas they do not have access to or maintenance (In case they ever lose maint access).

The only problem with this is that according to someone, assistants spawn will be linear, so that the first assistant to spawn in will always be in the same spot, and so on.

Can't you randomize it?

Also, what if more assistants spawn than there are spawn points?

Spawn them in the locker rooms, dorms, etc. Also, if there are more assistants than spawn points (which will usually happen during peak hours), then the extra assistants should spawn in a repeated order.

I remember it being mentioned that removing the number of each spawn and just having spawn points for assistants themselves mean it picks a random place if I remember correctly.

I'll likely rearrange the assistant spawn points if the poll shows good support.

I'll post the exact areas the new spawns will be. There will be exactly as many spawn points as we have currently for Assistants.

Well I did some testing.

Sadly the spawns will always be the same and are not randomized. So if your the 1st to spawn you will always spawn in one area.

Every time I spawned in as a assistant when the round started, I would spawn in the exact same place. I don't know how this spawn was chosen (It's inside the Starboard Emergency Storage, it's the 17th spawn I placed).

However the system is still sound.
