An item that defines an area as being unreachable by teleportation tech, so you can't bomb the AI or be able to steal everything.
Of course this is a patch for how horrible telesci is.

Didn't specifically say he wanted it given to the AI innately or as a malf ability. I think this person is simply requesting a device to provide this functionality be possible. Like how holy water blocked jaunts, I think.

Re: Anti telesci ward
I don't think this needs to happen.
I have been on the giving and receiving end of telescience bombings, and the amount of work that is required, especially the hyperspeed calculations involved in hitting any non-static target, and the difficulty in setting up telescience to that point anyway mean that any role that has a reasonable reason to fear them should be taking steps to prevent them. And pretty much the only people that have reason to fear telescience bombings is the MALF AI, and occasionally sec in a rev round. And rev rounds usually don't last long enough to get enough crystals and upgrades for telescience to hit sec or the bridge anyway.

Re: Anti telesci ward
I've cracked down on telesci stealing things as Warden several times. I've had malf AI's animate the damn console (thanks Sticky you jerk) right in front of me. Telesci has counterplay if you pay attention.Scott wrote:An item that defines an area as being unreachable by teleportation tech, so you can't bomb the AI or be able to steal everything.
