Dish Return

Post by Cayce » #49591

The chef needs a dish return slot, so dirty plates don't go back where food is.
Maybe at a certain number of plates, it auto-dismantles them into raw materials that the chef can use?
I'm not sure how that would work, but I like the idea.

Just give the chef a biogenerator and have the leftover plates count for a small amount when processed.

This makes sense, as plates are made from food.

It makes more sense to bin plates right now. They have small amounts of metal in them so the crusher will recycle them to sheets of it. Washing them at the sink just deletes them.

Crusher doesn't give a fuck if there is metal in trash to process.
You're right, my mistake, but sending the plates to the crusher is at least potentially more productive than just "washing"/deleting them. Crockery basically serves zero purpose beyond RP fluff as trash, which the crusher at least plays into. And that's okay, but until the chef cares that much about them there isn't really a need for a dish return system.
