Might not be too relevant until #7402 (the PR I linked) itself gets merged, but they would allow you to see the contents of glasses and the sobriety level of people in your bar.
Since #7402 isn't in yet, all they would do at the moment would let you see sobriety levels. Once #7402 is in, however, and you can no longer see contents of glasses by default, they will be much more relevant.

This is a BUFF to poisoning drinks. Currently you don't need ANYTHING to tell if a drink is poisoned or not.
literally no one poisons drinks right now because all you have to do is examine to tell if a drink is poisoned or not.
