How to perma kill changelings

"I ded pls nerf" - Everyone who has ever been killed by this antag with infinite revives, very strong organic weapons and is essentially a giant cloaking cockroach that dominates lowpop.

I think i have a constructive method in which to render changling as being dead via action of the crew without need for nessecary full incineration or destruction.

- The ling must be simultaneously set on fire & drained of blood, there are different ways you can achieve this but combined forces of dragging lings on fire around the station is helpful, as well as tying bound ling to bonfires with a attached IV drip.

- Without blood for chemicals & a non husked body in which to inhibit the ling has nowhere to hide and will die for real this time without resorting to cheap gibbing tactics. Lings however can be revived by pouring blood into them so they can prepare a statis revive & fixing the damage out of being husked with snythflesh so there is a way to come back from this. It is also consistent with the lore of changelings sucking material out of other lings rendering them permadead in this state and substantiates that constantly flammating a ling at super hot temperatures is going to dry the ling's body out eventually (meaning leaving them in the incinerator pernamently is a tactic)

It is recommended you destroy or space your ling corpse when it has been successfully been turned into the dormant dead.

This makes lings less scary and more counterable by the crew, the nessecary procedures to either go with the above method of body destruction or incineration when the brain is being borged is also extremely relevant to stop the debrained body reviving prior or post removal to be put in a MMI & borg.

Because ling fundamentally is a "kill and replace" stealth antagonist. As with most of our antags, they've gone through a lot of shifts to make them exceptionally strong going loud. A changeling could go an entire round without ever drawing an arm blade against anyone who could out them or know what was happening. Its entirely viable for a ling to just blend into the crew, get dunked by something that would kill a normal crew member and get left for dead, "miraculously" revive and walk off without anyone noticing. That's why they have revives.

Can corrode their way out of cuffs, if they don't kill sec first they will find ways to infiltrate and use sec supplies against them. I mean draining them of blood and setting them on fire in order to achieve two status objectives (there is nothing inside or outside but the husk for the ling to revive into) is something a particularly lucky assistant could do since afterwards of being drained the ling will need to with abilities like fleshmend replace their natural blood levels.

It's pretty much the only thing that makes them any good. Remove revive and they're no more dangerous than a greyshirt in an ambush is

Its hard to reliably get them in there, with my method of healing them up from death by resupplying with synthflesh & blood, the ling can revive after the medical treatment after undergoing statis in containment.

Also events/collusion mean that it would be easy for the ling to escape in a power blackout.

2. Apply cuffs
3. Get to a gibber/crematorium asap
4. Stay in restricted access areas where possible (avoid hallways and maint) so if they break free there's nowhere to run
5. Get good
