Make escape shuttles not be affected by pressure
Because destroying a single window or door to fuck everyone on the shuttle should not be a thing. It's far too powerful for how little effort it takes.

Surely there has to be a better solution to this "problem" than literally turning off atmospherics on like one of the only places it actually winds up mattering.

Fire is pretty bad too. All it takes is one person with an easy to make hellfoam nade and boom, the shuttle is now on fire forever. At least with bombs parts of the shuttle are likely to remain.
But yeah, as it is, pressure on the shuttle is bad. Some assistant broke a window and everyone started dropping dead.

If you absolutely have to, put fire extinguishers and an air can in the shuttle cargo hold by default.

Re: Make escape shuttles not be affected by pressure
We could not have windows on the shuttles or at least make them somewhat harder to break.

Re: Make escape shuttles not be affected by pressure
I once survived on a depressurized shuttle containing 5 people without hardsuits by patching up the window and filling the shuttle with CO2, since that was the only canister we had nearby.

You can be robust and spam full tile windows to safely block off a breach but still

Re: Make escape shuttles not be affected by pressure
I fail to see what the problem is anyway since pods are the pussy way to escape the station anyway.
If you can't even be arsed to replace a single window and pressurize the pod (or just get a spacesuit) than maybe you don't deserve to escape.

It's the shuttle kiddo, not pods.CPTANT wrote:I fail to see what the problem is anyway since pods are the pussy way to escape the station anyway.
