It didnt change hair length you could wear all the old styles. it just let you wear animated beards and rainbow beards and shit.

Maybe just make it a craft-able item. Something like Beard oil. Every round you use beard oil it adds to your beard counter. When you reach a tier of uses it unlocks the animated beard fun that you can go to any mirror to regain when grief shaved.

Last time I made this and we testmerged it I allowed females to participate, as this would be the only way they could get beads, since they can't get them normally, don't see a reason to remove that.

I would absolutely make the rainbow beard transition much slower.

When this was denied last time (both times) I was talking in IRC about hats that level up instead of beards, the hats get more over the top ridiculous looking as they level up, and if someone steals the hat and wears it to round end (on the shuttle like the beards) then it gets transferred to them. This would make it harder for the work you put into the hat to be destroyed, even though you could potentially lose the hat to someone else.

I'll be thinking about this during the weekend, although due to the massive no from maintainers last time (and probably this time) I don't think I'll be doing the beard thing exactly, unless you guys can convince them. The hat idea is something I'll consider, though. (unless you can convince maintainers on the beards)
