Make Shadowpeople a main race

Okay, hear me out. Shadowpeople are fucking hardmode to an unfair level. If plasmamen are hard mode, shadowpeople are like playing with a burning keyboard. I love plasmamen, fuckin' adore 'em, so there's a market for hardmode races. I just recently had a great round where i helped the crew as a nightmare. We obviously can't let people just play as nightmares, they have an armblade and can teleport in the fucking dark, but we also have shadowpeople, frail, probably introverted tunnel dwelling horrors who probably scare the crew just as badly as light burns them.

They're already in the game, coded and sprited, the only thing you'd maybe want to add is some specialized gear for them like plasmamen so that they CAN walk in well lit areas, some UV shielding biosuit or whatever. At best, a small amount of coding is done and they catch on like moths did. Worst case scenario, a small amount of coding is done and they fall into obscurity worse than flypeople. There isn't much of a loss, and people love new jobs and races, so why not add an existing species to our options?

Nanotransen is so biased towards them as they only hire crewmembers that enjoy the light.
It's why their ancestors the shadowlings went extinct trying to purge all of the anti-shadow-people revolutionists(edited)
Well, at least their children who inherited a tiny bit of there power. The nightmares are keeping up the good fight. Not as well as the shadowlings but, it's something.

i mean, plasmamen work in an environment that literally makes them combust, its not entirely far fetched for shadowpeople to be hired too, and given special suits

shadowpeople are boring and uninteresting, literally just reverse plantpeople
imagine putting them into roundstart

1. WIthout suits, we would be adding a roundstart race with a survival-based incentive to trash the station. If we do add suits-

If one recalls the cat removal debacle, one of the main reasons it was pushed was that cats didn't add enough to justify taking up a proverbial slot in the roundstart race list. Shadowpeople, even if the vandalism incentive was minimized, would not add enough to justify their place.
