I say we add in some disability-related traitor items that the player can buy. That guy in a wheelchair? Well turns out there's a turbo button that allows him to go faster and run you over akin to a mule bot. Blind guy? Although he still can't see he now has thermal vision and can shoot lasers from his eyes. Acute Blood Deficiency? Sounds like a motherfucking vampire.

Not only will this give people inclination to select disabilities, it also makes them very fucking dangerous.
To be robust is not about combat prowess, it is the state of readiness for the situation at hand.

Specialty traitor items that only the impaired can buy would be cool. I’ve wanted syndicate wheelchairs forever

this sounds like a very fun idea, sadly I don't know how to code, so I'll just ideasguy in case those who do like them
rocket-powered wheelchair turbo-drive:
Spoiler:
-huge, channeled speedboost, will knock you off when you hit a wall or someone
-deals severe damage to whatever it hits, if it was a wall, 100% of the damage on you, if it was a person/borg/simple animal, 50/50 damage
-you can get off right before it blasts off (should be very little tolerant in the timing window) to avoid damage, but you'll have to drag yourself back all the way to your chair
-deals damage depending on distance travelled (goes through windows without losing momentum if it accelerated for two screens, gibs if it goes through the whole Z level)
-leaves flames behind, setting anyone that walks on them on fire
iron spit:

your salivary glands were genetically modified to spit 10 brute damage balls of Fe⁰ to give all that iron you can't absorb some use, be careful, your blood will drain more when you do this! (1 second cooldown, enough blood drain that you can't crit someone before going into crit if you're not chugging blood)
tactical wheelie-heelies:

your leg prosthetic comes equipped with combat-ready wheelie heelies and automatic spring technology that will stun your victim longer than you get stunned yourself when running into someone, beware though, they are still a prototype and they have a 30 second cooldown every time you turn them on or off (minimum 30 seconds of skating max speed/walking everytime you use it, deals brute and stamina damage both to you and victim, double stun time for victim, not long enough for you to cuff after getting up)
what if you used 200% of your brain?:

your tumor hasn't only been growing in size, it has also grown in power
your tumor will now overclock your brain, making you move, complete progress bars and hit faster as it grows, keep it in check because it will still give you traumas and eventually you will die of cancer
keep in mind your skull hasn't changed it's size, so your ever expanding brain will cause you migraines that will stun you at random and hits to your head will deal 1.5x/2x/3x damage depending on your tumour stage (1.5 without traumas present, 2x with minor traumas present, 3x with major traumas present)

Just give antag blood deficiency traitors an implant that is used to suck blood.

Ablative bats currently already exist in the code; they could be a nice alternative to deswords for pacifistic traitors.
