Review/Criticism system for the Library's archive?
Mind you, I haven't a clue how hard something like this would be to code or anything. I know the library isn't exactly the most important feature of the station, but I thought it would be nice if there was a way to review the books in the external archive. Even a simple thumbs up/down system, along with a way to sort books by ratings, would be a boon when it comes to printing out a selection of books for the library. The review system could just be a small option available on both computers in the library and the one in Perma (which could be something constructive for the prisoners to do at least). As it is, the archive is an utter mess. I'm sure there's actual gems hidden in there that deserve more exposure to the crew (and I'm not just talking about my own stories. Haha).

There needs to be some cleanup that doesn't involve deleting the whole thing, because some of the books are actually fun to read. The problem is that the list is full of the dumbest shit like "cluenwe pls kill hop" and there's nothing inside the book at all. I think we could afford to lose the hundred-odd entries like that, they're only sometimes slightly funny, and that's being generous.

I tried to do a cleanup ages ago and people in the position to facilitate it didn't care
Archive could benefit from a clean start

Best bet is to ask MSO politely if he could set something up like the book club review system that Erro once did. Volunteers basically comb through the library and flag books for deletion based on whatever criteria was agreed on earlier.

Only if someone provides a complete dump of it for archival purposes.
The most excessive signature on /tg/station13.
Still not even at the limit after 8 fucking years.
The evil holoparasite user I can't believe its not DIO and his holoparasite I can't believe its not Skub have been defeated by the Spacedust Crusaders, but what has been taken from the station can never be returned.

Just start by purging all books with zero text content or less than 2 characters. That'd probably clean out a ton of garbage.
