Security newscasters can already do Wanted issues, but they don't do much. If you could actually print them out and put them up on walls like normal posters, that'd be good. Bonus points if you can attach a photo from the Security records and a list of crimes.

i think most security departments don't have the time to do anything of the kind but that it wouldn't be a bad feature.

tie it into the cyborg printing system and maybe you could have secborgs do most of the work or something though.

then again nohandslol so can't stick to walls

Just make newscasters cycle the photos of all currently set to wanted. It requires no effort on the part of sec with the same resoults.

You could issue Wanted posters from any newscaster before if you had sec access. I remember doing it as a HoP from office.

You had to add photos in the olden newscaster wanted poster if I recall correctly.

Actually I think you could print out Wanted poster like a newspaper, just not stick on wall. Then again I'm only remembering things, when I ahelped not that long ago asking what happened to this feature the answer was "uuhhh dunno".

Well first, the lifetime of normal posters can be pretty low, people rip them down all the time. Second, we're in space, and we have newscasters already. Make them better at it and use them.

99% of the crew don't use, or have any reason to use newscasters.

People see posters on walls no matter what. People them ripping them down is completely irrelevent.

This is a 100% fluff change that has no practical gameplay changes. Dunno why there is even a discussion about it.
