i dont know how good of an idea this is but what if if somebody is on the floor and you walk over them it did minor damage? so if you tripped on the way into the escape shuttle you could get trampled to death

maybe only make it do damage if you're wearing shoes and running. so walking or taking off your shoes stops it. or maybe only apply it to jackboots? it might be neat.

It could make sense if you are on harm intent, since I imagine on help intent you're just stepping over people instead of trampling them.

i kinda like this idea. Help intent doesn't do any damage, you just step over them. Disarm/Grab will do a little damage since you're not trying to step over them, but you're not trying to hurt them. Then harm does a little more damage cause you'd want to hurt them. I don't think it should keep you down though, because that will get abused, hard.

make it a random chance to avoid imminent ahelping when shit goes down

i don't like the idea of intents being a determining factor very much; i utterly loathe it when some rando yells "CHANGE YOUR INTENT", but i'm okay with the concept of intents being something you just set to disarm and leave on (although grab should have a much lower chance)

it's a little beyond the scope of this thread, but i think physical damage (especially brute) should rouse a mob from stun or sleep.

I feel like the main thing holding this idea back is...

Well, the scenario in my head that is 100% SS13 is if someone trips while going to board the shuttle, and then gets trampled by a mob of people plus a janitor on their janikart, sending them down to around half health.

But that won't happen in SS13, because all the stuff that would trip you would also trip the rest of the mob as well.

Maybe give slippery plants a 50% chance to be used up each slip?

Clearly we also need minor damage for when people slip and fall on top of you. More damage for fat people, and if you're wearing spiky outfits then there may be backlash damage.

Clowns are going to get lynched more than ever.
