Adds skills that don't prevent you from using equipment that doesn't meet your skill level.

It just give's you buffs for how high that skill is, certain medicines and weapons will debuff some of the skills

Strength
Dexterity
Vitality (0-10 (with 11 being a special occurance))
Perception
Speed
Mentality

Would be the core stats, everyone starts with five at round start. (Deathsquads/ERTs/Nuke Ops start with 6)

For every point of strength, your punches would do another 3 brute. Above strength eight you gain a 10% chance to knock down/knock out for every level gained above that. Level 11 strength has a 70% chance to knock down, pushes you back three tiles and does 60 brute. One point of strength is gained for every 140 rep's you do on a weight bench (pressing X while equipped, has a cool down of two seconds, reduces stamina, if you run out of stamina you can't do any more reps)

SS13 is not the type of game that benefits from RPG progression.

Would rather base it off actual skills you can gain ingame. Like instead of "Int 10" you'd have "Knowledge of Wires" which could be learned from snipping the wires randomly or perhaps through skill injectors you get from the library or something.
I code for the code project and moderate the code sections of the forums.

Feedback is dumb and it doesn't matter

Only way I see this being added ever. Is if it's a temporary boost. Say vitality you recover stamina 20% quicker for 3 minutes, str you have an additional 5% knockdown for 2 minutes. Speed. You move faster for 30 seconds. Dex the next 5 crafting actions times are halved. Mentality. Uh Yeah you recover brain damage slowly from reading.
Perception? You see an ! Above people who have dangerous items in hand (gun, baton, WGW) without examining them for a minute.

But like basically add some gym shit to the rec room. Minor bonuses that don't really so much.

Edit: just make chems that do this kinda shit while in your body. End of it all.
