In its current form, its the safest way to functionally light gas without using a lightswitch with plasma filled lights, especially if you dont have a firesuit and are using it as a escape mechanic (Weld and lever all exits to escape shut, lay down plasma, throw lit molotov before you leave while you make a dash for the shuttle console to keep everyone occupied)

I think you have to untick the default and tick the one you want in Dream Maker. Somehow I got it so Boxstation was Z1, and Metastation was Z8.

With dream maker, untick _maps/tgstation2.dm and tick _maps/mapyouwant.dm then recompile.
These code files automatically include all the map and, if it has any, code files needed to play that map; It's possible to tick a .dmm directly to include it but that'll error out in some cases.

The Sleeping Carp gang cannot use guns. They are instead focused around martial arts and melee. They can spend 30 influence on a scroll which gives them a unique martial art with combos and, more importantly, the ability to deflect all projectiles unless the user is a hulk.

What are the steps I need to do to make myself game admin on my own test server?

I added my name as GameMaster is admins.txt but for some reason I am not getting the admin rights.

edit: nevermind, I recompiled from scratch and it worked.

You can only get a knockdown when you hit the chest, and a knockout when you hit the head.
The chance of a knockdown is (f)+10, where (f) is the weapon's natural force. The chance of a knockout is just (f).

So a fire extinguisher (force 10) has a 20% chance to knock someone down when you bash their chest - and a 10% to KO them with a hit to the head.
An energy sword has a ~42% chance to knock down when targeting the chest, and an armblade has 35%. Pretty robust.

Fire extinguisher is force 8. They're an awful weapon.
Energy Swords and Armblades do 31 brute. Armblades are strictly better because no disarms.

I have no idea where you got that information from. Fire extinguishers have had a force of 10 and have for as long as I can remember. Arm blades have 25 force, and energy swords have 30 (with double energy swords having 34).

I think you go directly to the left from the abandoned teleporter. You may want a jetpack because I don't remember if it leads you right next to it, but it is in view if you don't move at all.

Except some things are on the same z level. the dj station can be reached from the derelict because it is on the same z level. the white ship can be reached from the abandoned teleporter because it is on the same z level

Its to the left and south a little bit, just grab the GPS from the science lobby before you go. The whiteship has a GPS on the bridge you can track

woah, looks like you do go straight up, but the problem is it is just barely too far to the left, so you wont hit it unless you make a few lattices to the left before going up. we were both wrong.

other objects like rods can embed if they're thrown by an explosion/disposal pipes/pneumatic cannon

Why do Giga-gar glasses exist?

They were added during the dark period where Buffalo Paprika was removing all pop culture references he didn't like and Bus was happily supporting him in his madness, so a reference item to Gurren Lagann getting added during that period is weird, out of place, and a total double standard.

Then theres the fact that they're standard alternative equipment for the HoS and Captain... whilst the item looks like something that, other than in Gurren, you would only ever see in San Francisco on a bloke with a big thick mustache... who is wearing black leather assless chaps!

The double irony is that, according to Know-your-meme and Urban dictionary, the term 'gar' comes from a misspelling of the word gay - so the glasses are literally named "Gigantically Gay Glasses".

This is not a coincidence either, given the fact that Gurren Lagann is one of the most homoerrotic animes in the past ten years - which is saying something considering how faggy anime has been in that time period.


What I'm trying to say is, why does such a gay item exist and why do so many people wear them and not realise they make them look like a giant cum guzzling degenerate queer.

There's only four items in the whole game that can embed when thrown afaik, which is spears, glass shards, throwing stars, and eswords.

there should be a list of all embeddable objects too.
There's only four items in the whole game that can embed when thrown afaik, which is spears, glass shards, throwing stars, and eswords.

8 TC for a 75% chance to cause 60 brute if it embeds. They aren't going to survive if they pull it out or if it drops.

Isn't it 60 over time, though? They might have time to take you down and then heal up - and good luck retrieving the sword when they die.

Nope. Embed does 40 brute coupled with the throw force (which is 30), so it'd actually do 70 brute guaranteed on an unarmored target, but you'd be hitting for at least 40 if the target is heavily armored.
