YES LET'S ADD A LITERALLY DEAFENING SOUND TO THE SHUTTLE EVERY TIME IS LAUNCHES OR ARRIVES, THIS IS A GENIUS IDEA

+1 agree. What was wrong with the old sound? This is Nar'sie all over again (who, I might add, still has that ridiculous ripping sound prefacing the actual good one because some people don't know how to let fucking go).
Same with flashbangs really. We're removing all the old good sounds that have been here for years and replacing them with 'new and improved' editions that plain suck.

Because I listened to and liked the sounds, but it wasn't in game so I didn't know that they were deafening relative to the rest of the game.

ME AND PHIL FOUND THE ISSUE
The amount of people is the amount of times the sound is played... on top of itself.
And with sybil populations on the shuttle...
This was because Xhuis did a loop, and tried to output the sound to each mob in the area (rather than outputting it to the area like I said) but he got his vars wrong and DID output it to the area.. just way too many times.

EDIT: Okay, nevermind, this has been fixed already. Please update the server at sanic speeds because this is apparently really bad or something.
