People talk about nostalgia and the original two games not being good but i go back to Battlefront 2 and replay the campaign every once in a while and it is still fucking fun.
Once you have most of the higher tier upgrades unlocked permanently (elite rifle and the like) do an ironman campaign playthrough on elite difficulty where you start the level over any time you die and use no jedi heroes. Shit is fun as fuck, although i nearly ragequit on Kashykk
Arthur Thomson says, "Since there are no admins I would loging with another account and kill you"
Caleb Robinson laughs.

I don't think I'm good at this game but if by some random chance you don't get 55+ kills every round I don't know what your doing.
I like to play with max reinforcements on elite
I still haven't got legendary war hero.
Because I don't die.
For a real challenge play through the whole story but when you die make a new profile.
If you have a fusion cutter you have a shotgun you thus have a flechette shotgun which if you aren't one shotting jedis with, skeedadle the fuck outta here.
Hell its easy even if you are just using a blaster rifle.
Wait are all of you using the lock button with the controller? If so STOP. Better yet are you not using a controller? If so STOP.
Use the soft lock to keep a steady aim but never use full lock in anything other than a starfighter it completely overrides your aim and makes it impossible to gun down a swarm of enemies due to the random switching.

I was so bad at them but I really loved BF2
I remember having a friend over and we were playing a rental copy on my PS2 - we were both droids and I was spawncamping him with a rocket launcher, and we both thought it was the funniest fucking shit for some reason(???)

good times
Indeed.
Your sins are not to be forgiven. Pain and regrets are waiting for you.
So in the news I'm reading theres supposed to be 3 times the ammount of content in this upcoming one compaired to the first one. And also DEDICATED SERVERS!! also new modes I don't know what that means but maybe command posts!?
i liked the open beta version of the first one alot but i didnt have the money to buy it at the time and the day 1 buyers really shat on the game so it turned me off on the concept + like a week later the playerbase just died
however the new version is getting rid of my 1 issue i had with the original and that was the goofy ass coin system in which you ran around like a retard and hoped to trip over the "play a hero for 2 minutes" coin
please dont fuck this one up with a different issue somehow
Wyzack wrote:original had what, four maps? 12 maps is not that many.
it's a fairly reasonable number imo
assuming they do it like new battlefront each map will have different layouts for different modes, and I think quite a few shooters nowadays ship with around that many maps
I'm going to wait and see but they seem to know what they fucked up with new battlefront

Why even have hope when they probably have this old game's source code on a CD gathering dust that they could do up by abusing one of their many developer teams and then sell?
e3 is always like this, it's a fucking show for stockholders and always has been
EA had nothing to do with that project floundering. LucasArts can take most the blame with how they handled their projects at that timeframe. Battlefront 3 can be chalked up as another cancelled, rushed, or mishandled product by them which includes Star Wars Galaxies, Force Unleashed II, and 1313. Probably for the best EA has control now as LucasArts use to be special; but they surely were not at the latter stages there with constant bad decisions and treating their contracted developers like shit.

or, hell, wait for the game to come out and play it yourself, refund policies are so hilariously forgiving you can just refund a game you decide you don't like
