What does this mean?
This is a guide that requires a heavy amount of mental strength and requires you to be constantly ahead of your enemies and friends.
This is a guide that allows you to really unleash the potential of not only yourself, but others in your security team.
This isn't a guide on how to be the most robust.
This is a guide on how to respond appropriately. Often times hundreds of things are occuring in a round. You must be ready to respond quickly.
Outsmarting your opponent is the key to dismantling even the most robust of individuals.
Always ensure you have a good security team that are responsive and active.
If you have a smaller security team, be more conservative and do things area by area. A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link.
A wingman of two communicative and teamworking people can easily beat five ragtag irregulars.
And remember, you're not here to give people greentext or redtext.
You're here to have fun, and to create stories, and to ensure as many people have fun as possible even at the cost of a few individuals.

How to
Loyalty and power struggle.
As a HOS, you are constantly struggling in power against the other heads of staff.
As a HOS, you are also struggling to keep the loyalty of your own security team when faced with people like the Captain.
Ensure everyone on your security team is happy. Loyalty is absolutely required here.
Never terrorise the civilian staff. They can make or break you at any time.
Do not be replacable, but do not deprive your own team of things that make you irreplacable.
Do not attempt a coup without a good solid support team. The crew and other heads of staff will be demoralised and you must be able to fill the power vacuum with the removal of the captain.
How to coup
Running a coup is the most stressful thing you can do as a HOS.
To run a coup, obtain support from your security team and other civilian staff to ensure everyone is content.
To obtain support, listen to what each security and civilian staff want and take their requests and advice into your new ruling on the station.
Avoid revealing your intention to coup, the more secret the better.
Plan ahead and create a small and very loyal team.
When running a coup, instil martial law and ensure departments are locked down and other heads of staff are monitored.
Detain the captain and any of his loyalists. Silence them too.
The loyalist detainees can be exiled, executed, demoted, detained, or simple disappear.
Do not attempt to run a coup if you do not think you can fill the power vacuum. You will make the shift shittier for everyone else.
