Lore question: Is the station insured?
Clearly something wrong happens quite often. Does Nanotrasen have space station insurance for SS13?

I don't think they need to or would even be able to find someone who would insure them. Nanotrasen is filthy rich thanks to plasma technology, and they're the dominant force in the galaxy. The other megacorporations had to bundle their forces in the Syndicate to be able to offer any kind of resistance at all.

on the arrival shuttle, I saw the iconic toolbox on the ground. I clubbed myself in the head with it trying to figure out the controls.
Setting the tool box, now bloodied, back on the table; I went to heal myself with a medkit. I clubbed myself in the head with that too.
I've come a long ways from asking how to switch hands.

NT is probably massive enough that if they need something, they make it themselvesRicotez wrote:I don't think they need to or would even be able to find someone who would insure them. Nanotrasen makes millions of dollars selling overpriced bicycles.

Is making an insurance company to insure yourself sorta like plugging a power strip into itself for infinite power???

a medical wing capable of treating just about every known ailment and cloning if that doesn't work out seems like pretty good health insurance to me.
i also thought the '''lore''' was that the rounds you played are the rounds where shit hits the fan, with it being the odd one out of seemingly normal shifts.

Re: Lore question: Is the station insured?
Who knows how many other companies are out there, doing the same shit in different places? Maybe there'd be some entity out there who'd save them 15 percent or more on station insurance.
