Description of what happened:

I latejoined as an Assistant and wanted to be borged. When I joined the game I said that there was only one Roboticist so when I went to Robotics and saw the only Roboticist there was braindead I at first tried to break in, though I could just walk in because a Drone left Robotics. Inside there was a borg body already ready and I named it and by then Philip Hawking walked in, I assumed he latejoined after me as Roboticist. I asked him to borg me and at first I he wanted a reason for it, but I just told him to do it. After some time (like 1 minute) he finally grabbed me and put me on the table and then started to slash at me with various surgery tools, at first I thought he was inexperienced or had no idea what to do so I asked if he used the drapes but he didn't react. After some time had had surgery'ed me to death and then continued for another 5 minutes to slash at my dead body like an idiot. In frustration I already said in deadchat how I hoped he is an antag, causing a few ghosts to show up and watch the scene. Eventually he pulled off the entire brain removal surgery without a hiccup, meaning he did know what to do. As an MMI then he didn't instantly put me in my body but instead carried me around a bit and threatened to put me down disposals.
Eventually he finally did put me into the borg shell and I rolled into mechbay into a recharger and talked to the AI about what module I should choose. In the meanwhile Philip followed me and unlocked me and took out my cell, I assumed he would try to emag me but nothing came off it, instead he closed me without cell, dragged me around a bit and eventually opened me up to mess with my wiring via multitool. He locked me down and did unbind me from the AI. After that he put my cell back in, dragged me around some more and whacked me with some tools.

Eventually he blew himself up with the Welding Fuel Tank, I couldn't do much since I was still locked. After like ~10 minutes the HoP showed up and managed to repair me to full function again.

I talked to Tedward1337 during that time but he couldn't investigate since Terakyl logged off and he recommended doing a FNR if I wanted.


Why they should be banned:

Server Rule 1 all across the board pretty much. This behavior shouldn't be allowed from an non-antag Roboticist, hell even for an antag this would've been a bit much and deserving of at least a warning.

Further since I strongly assume that he latejoined after myself it means that he just joined the game, was an abusive shitlord to me for the entire time he was on and then logged off once he killed himself by accident.

While I'm inclined to call this a black and white request I can also see why Tedward would want to get his story before applying any punishment outright. That said it really seems like some obvious revenge-oriented grief; I'll take the heat and apply a roboticist ban. Will do my best to direct Terakyl here when they're next online so they can have a fair say in our discussion on the matter.

Silicons are still players and this is a really terrible thing to do to someone whose only crime is being annoying. (Which, jeez, I'd have wanted you kicked out of the lab too)

Besides this being slightly off topic, what did I do that would be considered "annoying"? Before Philip showed up there was no Roboticist except a braindead one, so all I could do was walk in when I get the chance, finish the borg body and get the necessary stuff from the braindead guy. As soon as he walked in I dropped everything and simply asked to be borged and since when would one have to give a reason for this trivial thing that's asked almost every round? And of course I'm impatient when the Roboticist takes his sweet time messing around and wasting my time. It's not much fun being dead during surgery or an MMI.

There's no reason to defend him in any way since I really genuinly and sincerely understand his position and not wanting any trouble, believe me I get it. I'm not blaming him for anything at all, in fact he has been very helpful, looked into it and provided me with the byond key and suggested the FNR. (because usually when an admin handles something you shouldn't make one extra)

So really Ted did as good of a job as he could as a TrialAdmin, I intend no negativity towards him.
