My suggestion would be to not take your admin status so seriously this time and to think carefully before making any rash decisions.

What? That wasn't my intention at all, I was just pulling logs for that gold slime thing a few days ago and I was curious. The guy hit him in disarm, it seemed like he was trying to knock the CE down instead of clocking him with a crowbar. I'm not gonna pass judgement on a ban I didn't place, man.

Except he didn't pass any judgement in that appeal? His statement that the clown struck him once was accurate too. His assumption is also supported by the context of the log in question.

Pros:

Cool as fuck
Good taste in watches
Reasonable, level headed, can take a joke, and give out jokes.
Has no problem admitting where he messed up
Is incredibly polite with ahelps even when a massive shitler like me is ruining somebodies entire round
Fair judgment, good eye for shitlers.
Can always depend on him during average hours stealthminning and almost immediately responding to ahelps.
Is my friend on steam for whatever reason *I honestly don't know why*

Cons:

Is salty as fuck in ooc on occasion.
Can't tell when I'm being sincere and not a jackass "do you need me to tell you everything that happened exactly?" "no, don't be a smartass" :,(
Sometimes takes certain jokes a little too seriously and gets a little salty about it.
Doesn't play Monaco with me on steam.

I played as Roman Pavlyuchenkov and I was like some Eastern European hit-man/private custodian for hire. I walked around asking people if they "Need clean?" I never killed anyone because I wasn't feeling it, but I did clean a lot because you set it as a traitor objective. At one point, someone hired me to break into the HoP's office, clean it, gib Ian and put the meat in a line down the office, without being caught.

Ran a shitty deathmatch event in honour of 4th of July. Rather than create something with roleplay potential, opted to arm the crew and let them kill each other. This somehow ties in to American Independence? Predictably, it result in 90% of the crew having to sit out within the first 15 minutes. He justification for this was that he would allow respawn, however he only toggled it on and offer for about 10 seconds three times, so not many people actually managed to. Those they did were faced with a station that was nearly completely on fire, and filled with gun wielding validseekers running around shooting any survivors. He did this at least two rounds in a row.

I suggested that a better alternative with actual roleplay value and a social experiment side to it would be to arm crew with weapons that they could use to defend themselves or their property, which would better represent the the use of guns of 90% of Americans. He ignored this and stuck with his lazy, unimaginative event that resulted in 90% of players having to sit out within 15 minutes.

1) I made it very clear what the event would be before starting it. Everyone had the opportunity to vote and very few people voted no. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it, and I will take your feedback to heart.

2) I linked this thread at the beginning of the next round asking for feedback and how to improve future events, so don't act like I was ignoring it. I -did- ignore your feedback of THIS EVENT SUCKS OH MY GOD because it wasn't feedback, it was mindless bitching.

Thank you for posting it here though, I actually think the idea of a 2nd Amendment round is a good idea and I might very well run that tonight.

Most people didn't vote.

My feedback in OOC is the same as it is in this thread, which is that spawning unbalanced weapons and telling people it's okay to kill each other makes for a very shitty event. There's zero roleplay in it, and most people end up sitting out within the first 5 minutes.

There wasn't meant to be any roleplay in it. I'll admit that I need to make releasing plasma verboten next time, but I was very upfront with what the event would entail and most people ended up enjoying it.

The reason I ask for feedback here is because it's easier to keep and read than it is for me to try and filter through 40 people in OOC.

But it's a roleplay game. It's not at all suited to deathmatch, given how easy it is to die and how hard it is to respawn.

Has increasingly and repeatably lost my confidence in them as an administrator.
Between the terribly handled ban request that I ended up resolving later in #supportbus, the admin complaint where I had to correct his in-correct information and the constant nagging I had to do with him about resolving a bunch of ban requests he just left open and un-resolved to die, I just can't stand Vekter as an admin anymore. This is feedback completely un-related to how he admins on the server or whatever, and I understand life is busy which restricts some of that above stuff, but damn. I don't ever even leave feedback for admins normally.

Unequally moderated me in my MSO thread, Saeg double posts, I double post immediately after, I'm told to learn to edit posts and deleted, his comments are still alive and well.

Didn't PM me with the post, so I had to try to remember my point the next day and try to reiterate it as best I could after discovering it.

This is not the first time, and I'm not going hunting for a deleted comment and I can't recall the specifics, so don't ask me to hunt for an invisible needle in hay stack. Suffice to say when I found this one, I already felt vekter was a bit of a [Redacted for YOUR protection.]
