The design around them was that engieborgs would be better right off the bat but humans could get better tools with rare tech.
I think the current engieborg tools are slightly faster than the jaws of life tier tools anyway.

I'm indifferent mainly, the only thing that I'd like is the two tools in one that power tools have going for them as an upgrade but it's not 'too' useful - just cuts down on clicking.
Engieborg doesn't really have any specialized upgrades, besides the RPED, because it's pretty damn good at its job already. Only thing I can think to add is a circuitboard manipulator but that's can of worms territory.

Dr_bee wrote:Medborg tools are baseline but have 100% success chance no matter where the surgery is performed. So you can, for example, do a liver transplant on the bar-room floor with no risk of failure.

That would imply the medborg can pick up the liver and shove it in.

the patient can do that unless he's unconscious, hand and insertion actions are fine for self surgery IIRC

Mediborgs have an organ bag for that now, you can do augmentation, limb replacement, implant installation and organ transplants now.

It would be nice to reduce inventory bloat, since like others have said, engiborgs and mediborgs have it the worst. The mediborg hypospray change (where the two chemical hypo upgrades were consolidated into one) was very nice, so it's not unprecedented.

honestly imagine not carrying a 1 sec timer flashbang on you at all times it will completely ruin a borg with none of the risk of going into melee range and getting stunprodded or morphine hypo'd or shock hugged or whatever
