Z-levels loop forever?
Noticed in my spacetravels that some zlevels loop forever from some directions, which not only makes no sense but makes my naked victims infinitely dead.
The most excessive signature on /tg/station13.
Still not even at the limit after 8 fucking years.
The evil holoparasite user I can't believe its not DIO and his holoparasite I can't believe its not Skub have been defeated by the Spacedust Crusaders, but what has been taken from the station can never be returned.

Space, is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mindbogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space

Space also doesn't loop around the derelict for ten minutes before I finally board it and take the teleporter back to the station.

Re: Z-levels loop forever?
With the spacecube, transitions are randomized at the start of the round. While it's never really a cube, there's usually plenty of infinite loops around. Sometimes you can even get turned around on transition.
During one particularly boring three-hour round I mapped out the entire spacecube and found at least half a dozen infinite loops, including a straight transition from level 7-east to level 7-east. Spacing a body might land it right outside the HoS's window or leave it trapped in space forever, depending on your luck.

Re: Z-levels loop forever?
The point of space cube was to make transitions predictable and mappable, which they are. But due to the quirks of mapping a cube with squares that can only be oriented in one way means these loop points exist. It's not perfect but it's a start.
