Law One inadequate information due to no suit sensors
Something that I've been confused lately with, is when playing as an AI, people accuse sec of harming them, and law one order me to save them. Sometimes, their suit sensors will be maxed, and I notice that they are completely fine, can inform them of this, and ignore them. However, something that I have come to get stumped on, is when people are screaming about harm, and they have their suit sensors off. An AI has no way to tell if someone is actually being harmbatoned, stunned, or beaten to death, without suit sensors. Can an AI ignore the law one request on the basis of inadequate information? Or do you go set to arrest and send in Beepsky on every occasion?
This is usually when I have no borgs.

Use common sense. You can visually see if someone is attacking someone now, and if they're off cameras, well you can't really do a lot other then ask the crew to please investigate.

Just look, if they are covered in blood then send the justice bringer in to fix shit up, just make sure they aren't actually being harmed.
The most excessive signature on /tg/station13.
Still not even at the limit after 8 fucking years.
The evil holoparasite user I can't believe its not DIO and his holoparasite I can't believe its not Skub have been defeated by the Spacedust Crusaders, but what has been taken from the station can never be returned.
OOC: TheGel: Literally a guy in a suit with a shuttle full of xenos. That's a doozy

Common sense dictates harm in situations where you do not have a numbers feed.
Somewhat related: People who start saying 'AI harm' while be non-harmfully stunned (See: Batons, tasers, disablers) should be punished in the same boat with those who scream "AI ROGUE WOULDNT OPEN A DOOR 2 SECONDS AFTER I ASKED"

You operate only on the information you actually have. If you hear "oh god I'm being harmed" and you look at them and they're pristine, you can put 2 and 2 together to realize they're just being a shitler.

Re: Law One inadequate information due to no suit sensors
I play AI a LOT. Most people who pull that card are just being shitters. But I still obligate myself to investigate. If they dont have suit sensors on, and they ignore my request when I ask them to turn them on, or I see their suit sensors are completely fine, I just assume they are shitters and ignore them.

To be fair, handcuffing means you can't fix your suit sensors, I think.

look for blood, wounds, obvious attacks by nearby humans. if none of these things are happening keep an eye on it, otherwise they're probably just being dumb.
exceptions i guess is when they are being dragged to execution which you should try to do something about.

I'm almost certain your cameras can be set to display sechud or medhud icons and stuff and thus you can see health bars as an AI. Unless that was removed?
