Some question about the supermatter

Post by ThisIsOurLifeNow » #653919

1) Will the supermatter crystal last forever? Will it eventually decay and vanish after a few hours of use?

2)Will the supermatter absorb all gases pumped in the chamber after a few hours? The chamber moniter has a constant called absorbed moles. If you pump co2 in the chamber it jumps to 16.75 moles and after like 20 minutes the co2 in the chamber decreases and appears to remain constant till the absorbed moles becomes 12 again.

Will it absorb every gas in the chamber till its vacuum or will it stop absorbing moles when it reaches a certain constant?

The SM reacts certain ways with certain gases, but as a whole no the SM doesn't delete gases. It's net positive on gas volume, as it will at least produce plasma and oxygen given nothing but N2O. Given CO2 as well it will produce pluoxium, but as far as I know it won't remove the CO2 to do it.

A word from our company engineers:

- Exposing the supermatter to space is a bad good idea
- Pluoxium creation consumes CO2
- Standard gas reactions do not consume any gas
- The supermatter will last forever - assuming your mix is stable

The Pluoxium makes sense why CO2 decreases over time. Good to know we have a unlimited source of power , O2 and Plasma
