Honestly it has been months since I saw a greenshift, and those were set to 100 threat or other phenomena by admins. With my last real untampered greenshift being over a year ago, I can kinda see why he's making this complaint.

I like greenshifts, but there are a lot of people who have this weird notion that the only way to have fun in this game is either being an antagonist, or interacting with antagonists, so I can't say I'm surprised this happened.

Terry green shifts can be their own special form of hell. I guess it might make more sense to create some antagonists that are fixated on messing with security rather than just adding a general outlet like pirates into the mix.

To be fair it's not like everyone has 30 minute long projects they an embark on, while engineering and science may have a lot of content, medical quickly runs out of improvements to make if no-one is dying (and we're not even given access to tools or basic tier 1 components for building machines so I guess we're not supposed to build out medical anyway), assistants and security generally lack content and so on. There's a lot of gameplay that emerges from that conflict. And lacking it the crew usually turns into hellish infighting which is neither fun for most crew or admins.

Idk, green shifts are good but weirdly turn out to be more work than the average 30 threat shift.

(And yeah, I'm largely aware that as a fairly resident admin on Terry, this is effectively just 'my/our problem', but there's a definite desire to balance all the things up if possible. and predicting the outcome of things is super hard)

I was there for that as the chef. Felt like a normal round to me. Syndicate graffiti outside the bar within five minutes, command roles fighting in the halls. Things went to shit, then a slaughter demon rolls around.

Manuel is okay if you want less chaos and more character interaction. I’d say if you don’t like the felind groups just be a human/plasmaman/lizardman/lightblubman. Always works out.

Also, heavily dislike how Manuel is being treated as a “muh immersion” type of server. It’s MRP so of course there can be some amount of roleplay according to the character, but it should always be fun to play for everyone. This includes chaos and conflict. Bring it on, Black Orbit.

I'm notorious for hating the term "metagang" and "metafriends" but these people are a perfect example of it, they will actively self antag to side with each other in any situation it's fucking wild that they're defended.
