Your side of the story: I wanted to get into shuttle bridge, saying I wanted to look out the window. The HoP was quite aggressive about keeping me out, understandably, but after hitting me a bit, decides to allow me to stay in bridge, handcuffed to a chair. I'm pretty sure a giant worm broke in the door shortly afterwards, then a bunch of fellow assistants swarmed in. HoP sees red and starts lethalling people. During this, since the worm broke in, I've been working against my handcuffs and get free. The whole bridge is a bit of a mess, and I see the HoP laying on the floor, but out of crit. I decide to take revenge for the greyshirts that were killed unfairly by the HoP, and hit the HoP a couple times with a toolbox. The HoP asks me something along the lines of "Wanna die?", after which point we start hitting each other, and I end up killing them.
Why you think the note should be changed/removed: I very rarely get into fights, and I even got one of those little hearts a round or two before this incident after helping a new roboticist. While I do believe that my actions were justified IC, I try not to make a habit of harming people up when I can avoid it, unlike this person.
Anything else we should know: I think it's relevant to bring up some things that the HoP said post-death: "DEAD: Anastasia Isaman says, "FUck this, I'm automatically killing every single greytider the moment they do even the slightest shit to me"" "DEAD: Anastasia Isaman says, "I will be the worst HoP ever and I will enjoy all the shitheads crying about it""

Policy about greytiding shuttles:
The shuttle cockpit on most emergency shuttles is a command-restricted area, and trespassers can be summarily ejected, arrested or assaulted as under the same stipulations as any other restricted area - executing rioters forcing their way in destructively or trespassers who fight back on trying to be ejected is fine, killing late arrivals to the shuttle if an onboard telebeacon happens to be in the cockpit without even asking them to leave first is not. The cockpit isn't special, use nuance as one would with any other restricted area.

I realise it might be toeing the line of what's acceptable of my character in this situation, but I believe that due to the circumstance surrounding the murder were justifiable IC, though against space law.
I don't think that this would count as a random or poorly justifiable murder considering the IC provocation, and considering we were seconds away from reaching Centcom, I also wouldn't say that I was going out of my way to ruin this person's round.
That being said, I appreciate this warning, and understand if it isn't modified or removed.

Right, sorry for the delay.
My investigation saw you banging on the bridge's windows, and then later the HoP told me they let you inside since you were handcuffed and buckled to a chair. So seeing you kill the HoP after trying to break into a room that holds nothing valuable and is commonly broken into just because.
I don't see anything wrong with the HoP using lethals on a tide of assistants going inside the bridge.

I'm not saying the HoP broke any rules by using lethals on assistants. I'm saying that because IC I had a problem with that and with the later provocation/death threat by the HoP, I'd argue my violent response was justified IC.

I believe the murder wasn't random and that the situation escalated appropriately, as opposed to me breaking into the shuttle bridge and just blindly murdering the HoP, which would be tiding/RDM.

To clarify, the HoP did nothing wrong, I'm requesting that the notice is removed or modified to reflect the fact I'm not going around RDMing people :)

I included the HoP's dead chat logs because I thought it more accurately demonstrated their attitude towards the situation, but this is no longer relevant since the clarification from vect0r.

I'd like some clarification on the inferred rule 1 breach? I think I've wholly explained why I think this isn't the case, and it would be nice to know what your thoughts are in more detail than it being "too much".
I think it takes a certain type of person to not kill someone who just threatened to kill you (and just killed a lot of other people in front of you) when you have the opportunity, hence why my actions seem reasonable IC.

I included the HoP's dead chat logs because I thought it more accurately demonstrated their attitude towards the situation, but this is no longer relevant since the clarification from vect0r.

Thank you for offering to modify the note, I think a more accurate note would be:
"As a assistant, attacked the emergency shuttle bridge windows and was then let inside by the HoP, then after receiving a death threat from the HoP, killed them with a o2 tank."

I'd like some clarification on the inferred rule 1 breach? I think I've wholly explained why I think this isn't the case, and it would be nice to know what your thoughts are in more detail than it being "too much".
I think it takes a certain type of person to not kill someone who just threatened to kill you (and just killed a lot of other people in front of you) when you have the opportunity, hence why my actions seem reasonable IC.

Sorry for the delay. When i say "too much" i'm referring to your coup de grace and killing the hop instead of just stopping when they got into crit. Anyways, ill just amend it to
