Reading into the psypoint purchase thing, it seems less like a "you picked off-meta" and more like "you repeatedly picked things everyone else told you not to then got argumentative about it and kept doing it."

If you've got an off-meta pick with a genuine rationale, that's fine. If you consistently do off-meta that nobody else wants, it's akin to grief considering it's something the rest of your team doesn't want. The onus is on the player to convince their team off-meta is funny, useful, or otherwise NOT a grief pick, y'know? Either way, I wasn't there, this is a peanut, ided plz restard
