Too conservative, might as well be Fallout 3.5. The graphics look sub-par and whatever style theyre trying to achieve (It looks like CoD?) isn't coming through. Another game for the lowest common denominator of consumer.

My geography is shit, is Detroit close enough to Boston that we can get it as an area or something? If it is, Car Fallout when.

I miss the old powerarmor helmets. I also sorta dislike the Enclave's tech superiority getting somewhat retconned. Enclave power armor was called MK II power armor because it was the next model and straight up better than what the BoS was using

TIME FOR WHINE
why flashbacks, they ruin the impact of the wasteland
why are colours still considered a selling point in 2015
why can't they get good at animations, or graphics for that matter
why ruin a silent protagonist with generic white american male voice
I'll still pirate this and play it for hundreds of hours, though.

I think the flashbacks may just be a thing for the trailer
There's no confirmation he'll be voiced (that I know of) beyond one line in a trailer that might not even be him. Plus, Fallout protags are never silent protagonists. At their worst they're severely handicapped protagonists (UUN, UUN GAH, TOGG FIND BRAHMANS)

Hopefully they'll have multiple voices for each gender, and at least one won't represent a generic character archetype.

All this doomsaying, and here's me proposing that the Vault Dweller only speaks in trailers, and mods will be free because Steam would else get their shit kicked again.

Steam got their shit kicked for introducing the pay-for-mod system to a modding scene that had existed for years without it. With Fallout 4, they have a brand new game to add it to from the very start.

Probably no moreso than F3 had. The Capital Wasteland had a few moderately tall structures (and Tenpenny Tower, though that was more odd than anything.) I don't expect that you'll see NYC-like 1000 floor skyscrapers though. This is a wasteland after nukes. Not a zombie apocalypse.qwert wrote:May be there would be some postapocalyptic skyscrapers C:
