I dont remember it exactly.
But if that was the round where you were the HoP:
* You should mention that there was a trial that found you guilty of something (dont remember it)
* There was a captains announcement that authorized your execution.

So it was perfectly fine to kill you -> The captain authorized your execution.

Edit: Just saw that you wrote: walked into the bridge and killed me
I am now 100% sure which round it was.

There was a proper trial in the Courtroom. (with a Prosecution, a Defence and a Judge)
The HoP was found guilty of something and ran out the the courtroom through the law office.

After a few minutes there was a captains announcement that authorized the execution of the HoP.
I saw him running into the bridge, so I took the oportunity to take him down.
After he was dead I dragged him to the brig and handed him over to the warden to handle him.

I do not remember seeing the captain announcement, but The trial was a total sham and the trial was supposed to not happen and that was my arguement in comms.
