Headmin Election 17
There are 17 syllables in a traditional haiku, a Japanese three-line poem, so here is a haiku about democracy, written by chatGPT

Voters' voice heard loud
Equal power, all opinions
Democracy shines bright

How the vote works - viewtopic.php?f=38&t=9965

Rules:
1)Only post a candidate thread in this forum if you are planning on running - viewforum.php?f=38
2)You must not be permabanned or blacklisted
3)Do not ask headmins about a particular players conduct, generalise your question, this is not a forum to use the headmin candidates to attack other people
4)If you want to ask every single headmin a question, post your question here - viewforum.php?f=52 - read the rules, this subforum is strict, spamming your question across every candidate thread is a good way to get your question deleted.
5)Low effort posts deleted on candidate request
6)No bribes, or offers/things that could be construed as bribes, you'll get one warning, then you'll be disqualified. This includes coding PR's for votes.
7)Don't advertise on the codebase or abuse it's PR announcer for your own means
8)Do not campaign in the game in an IC fashion, such as Captains Announcements or Stations names etc. Keep it OOC and do not abuse your admin privileges such as global narrates, talking on ooc while its disabled, and so forth.
9)Only players with 90 minutes of playtime in the past 45 days may reply to candidate threads or talk in the debate forum.[/u]

You retroactively changed the dates of previous elections? I want to yell conspiracy, but what benefit could this serve? The only thing it does is... make the list look more... neat. Oh.
I consider myself a /tg/station historian. If you're interested in the server history at all, feel free to ask me and I'll try and get you an answer! #ConcurForever

You may now post in candidate threads and post debate threads for candidates.

reminder, you cannot post in debate threads if you are not a candidate, your opinion is irrelevant.

I'd like to announce the February 2023 Headmin Election Debates!
They'll be taking place on 2023/02/25 10:00 PM (UTC). We ask all headmin candidates that intend on participating to prepare a sub minute introduction to themselves, their platform, and their history with TGstation. We'll have CitrusGender as our caster for the event, with help from the events and admin team!

For the audience, you guys will have the opportunity to ask the candidates your own questions, please keep in mind that questions should be short, open ended, and not directed at an individual candidate. We're also going to have a community-made bingo sheet for anything funny that might happen during the debate! You can submit bingo tile suggestions to the form below:
https://forms.gle/hegHReQm9VTXx1Ng7

As for headmin candidates, please sign up well ahead of time by contacting @Nineball#0562 on discord, the earlier you can say you'll arrive the better!

We hope to see you there!

Also, this is not an official debate, it's a for-fun event and you're not obliged to show up.

Forgive my ignorance but I got no idea how to read some of these results. What are "first pick votes" and "total vote value?"

I'm stupid it was right there: viewtopic.php?f=38&t=9965
