Re: Atmo: Lag Edition
I'd say atmos goes a long way towards a few thematic goals. Without atmos there really isn't much lifesupport for a space station and hull breaches and the like don't seem super threatening. It also provides one of Malf's biggest tool and a great micromanaging tool for dealing with common disasters ...

It's an odd game. Some missions are just incredible with their atmosphere or story it's just that there's a bunch of stuff in between those few really great MGS stories. Yeah but who's going to continue to develop the "main fork"? The main fork is where the content is and for better or for worse, that comes from the coders.

This is tough but not as bad as it could be. DM will still open maps with incorrect paths so it's not that. It's possible that a map item itself, such as a locker or spawner, references a missing item. Off the top of my head the shotgun change here: https://github.com/tgstation/-tg-station/pull/1001...

Why not make walls much more expensive than floors? It seems that would fix both problems of breaches and of walling off being a viable strategy. It also makes intuitive sense.

I think removing the AI is way too drastic a change. It serves a lot of utility purposes on the station and valid hunting is far from it's sole purpose. I think we should deal with the problem itself instead of ripping out huge parts of the round.
