I think it could work as a shared responsibility between engineering and custodial staff. The janitors could be in charge of the general upkeep while the engineering/atmos teams perform the actual maintenance when things break

I always subscribed to the traitor's being Sleeper Agents with implants of their memories as a Syndicate that trigger at roundstart. Sec and the Captain having loyalty implants prevent them from firing so to speak since none of the implanted roles are capable of being tator tots outside of Admin Abuse

It's kind of ridiculously funny how a laser pointer is a hard counter to most SIlicons and even security if your RNGame is good. They EMP cameras, Stun/blind/mute borgs and can flash people through eye protection

If we're going down this route, Malf/Traitor AIs should be able to access ALL the Cyborgs on the console.

You could have Emagged borgs show up as normal on the console to the AI's perspective but none of it's commands actually "do" anything. If the AI tries to lock a borg down, it gets the lockdown message and the emagged borg receives a notification that an attempt was made to lock them down ...

I believe the official ruling is that Hulks are considered mutants anot Human. Which is really good for AIs who have no means of restraining or stunning a Hulk non-harmfully. Against a Hulk the AI may as well let them in for all the good they can do.

The AI can't release people from perma if they've been placed in there for a violent crime, or they don't know why they've been arrested, under Law 1. But neither can the AI let security execute Human prisoners so bolting a prisoner into their cell is the only reasonable thing an AI can do
