Re: [Brotemis] Lecherstein - silicon jobban appeal/complaint
Well, I'm gonna pull up the same iffy excuse, but still a valid point: admins can make mistakes. They can be wrong, they can get pissed. Sometimes it's best to de-escalate the conflict yourself, which, in your case, could've been wise. Back on point, making the captain do his job isn't really a borg...

Re: [Brotemis] Lecherstein - silicon jobban appeal/complaint
This one's a tough pickle. I'll go ahead and point out the one particular point in which OP really DID make a mistake: -- Administrator private message -- Admin PM from-Brotemis: So yeah, unbolt the captains office. Last request After that you should've stepped back and just unbolt the office, and T...

Re: [SubtleGraces] Psyentific - Cargo Jobban
See, this is you went wrong, Psyentific: you were an assistant but decided it's fine and dandy to be the acting captain and demote the QM for not playing the way you want him to, instead of, for example, transferring to a cargo tech and explaining him the gist of the job and it's quirks. As far as I...

Not a big fan of flashing myself. And where the hell do I get flashbangs beside robbing sec anyhow? (I, in the current situation, am a geneticist or a CMO.)

Re: "It's silicon policy time!" "No CentCom no!"
But how do I counter the fucking secborgs then? Don't say "EMP", it's really unreliable. (I'd also be quite content if hulks' ability to smash R-walls was removed, that's just stupid.) Also, what does this have to do with security. Security have always been free to laser down griefing hulk...

Re: "It's silicon policy time!" "No CentCom no!"
I used to see Hulks as the only sensible counter to cyborgs who are already unstunnable by default, carry a flash and can go secborg to completely fuck you over if you have some antag needs. (Hello, geneticist here.) (Especially as a geneticist). Moreover, wizards hulk themselves every time they use...

Re: You must be 18 or older to play on the game servers.
The point is it's not OUR choice to ban underaged people. It's just that the server's hosted in MURICA with it's stupid laws, which force us to uphold such a ridiculous policy.
Any questions?

You've got enough time to realise the person you are throwing cards at is dying. Moreover, the person he attacked never did touch him.

Re: [CreationPro] Vis Mortar - Gaming cards are edgy!
As a security officer, you are expected to show the most decency of all crew. You can't just throw cards at people until they die.
Consider a dayban for random murder served, but I am keeping the security bans you got. These are permanent. Appeal them no earlier than in a month.

I'm going to pretty much agree with Psyentific on this one.
Stealthy traitor items should remain stealthy, and trying to purposely distinguish them from regular items for no reason is excessive powergaming.

Re: [CreationPro] SuicideZ - Killing HoP
All right, after having a talk with the HoP, it seems you weren't *actively* trying to kill him. You were standing by while the antag mime was killing him, and then proceeded to shoot the sec guard. (Which is what the ban was for initially). I will be lifting that one, but, please, do not aid antago...

Re: [CreationPro] SuicideZ - Killing HoP
Right, the HoP reported being attacked by you, and there's that line: [06:34:46]ATTACK: Lars Ake shot Joseph Murray with The disabler beam. Can you explain that? Can't say that was a stray shot because you shot many people that round. Edit: relevant parts of the log. [06:18:04]ATTACK: Lars Ake(suici...
