Re: Faiths and religions
I like hanging out with religious folks, they are well-mannered, honest, helpful, welcoming, friendly, all round good people. Except in the army there was this higher ranking dude that decided we had to read our soldier's manual on planting landmines or w/e while the others were doing church-service...

Re: ITT: we whine
There is a verb that increases your view distance, set-view-distance or something it's called. The maximum size is 128, if I remember correctly. With that distance you only need ~4 screenshots to cover the entire map. Only admins can use the verb, but to take a decent screenshot of the map without ...

Re: Drones: Feedback edition
Drones are the best new thing, I love being able to wire solars and fix stuff without having to worry about anything. Malf/syndicate drone factory would be cool to have. Syndi drones without uplinks, with a law that says they have to feed the drone factory with metal and glass to produce more drones...

Metagaming telesci coordinates is about as bad as metagaming food & chemistry recipes or how high a dna block you need to have for super powers. Props to those who figured out the recipes without reading the wiki. Two ideas for balancing it: Telesci shouldn't be so accurate you can teleport to a...

Re: 3 out 4 of my last deaths were from an alien hunter
Thus, without modifiers from clothing, reagents, hunger, health or temperature, the alien hunter has 8 times smaller movement delay than a human, and possibly the smallest move delay of any mob in the game. That's to Mr. Crimson's argument of "lol just run and shoot your laser at him bro, soo ...

Roundstart suiciding in "non-important" roles
We currently do not have a policy on roundstart suiciding, other than for important roles such as heads of staff, AI or antagonist (Rule 6). Why roundstart suiciding is a problem from gameplay perspective: - Suiciders are a security threat because they make it easier to steal a false identity. Takin...

Re: Prayers for changeling playtesting
Unless other headcoders say otherwise, I'll take Cheridan's word as the decision I was asking for.
If we have design policies written down somewhere, we should add the design goal "antagonists are not supposed to kill people too much" to those policies.
