Wether paintballs should damage people in a game isn't a question of pain. More of "could you expect to reliably kill someone with this?" and with a paintball I would say no. Could you kill someone with a prop sword if you tried hard enough? Maybe doesn't mean we should simulate that though.

Doors isn't the best place to leg it. Water slows you down and there are oodles of traps on the higher level. I like to just sit on the higher level above where they come in then drop down like a spider once they start trying to clear the mobs.

Admins turning guide writers into antags so they can write a good guide would be a reasonable solution.
We don't have many people tending the guides so guide quality shouldn't be left up to random chance, also provides an incentive.
