have coders vote for headmins :^) Jokes aside, I think admins should vote for headmins for the same reason why coders should vote for headcoders: the playerbase only sees a fraction of what they really do and who they are. The fact that you can die and be cloned and still control the new body is indicative that our de facto canon is that consciousness somehow transcends the electrochemical activity of your brain.

That's a good point. I think to avoid these situations in the future, assistants should spawn on the derelict instead of the station. This would avoid them not having fun when people prevent them from breaking the law to further their goals.

No, you don't have to define syndicate agent/operative. The AI knows what that is, just like it knows what a wizard is. It may not be obvious who is and who is not a syndicate agent/operative, however.

From a practical perspective, determine whether or not to do things by asking yourself the following:
Will this cause someone to die?
Will this ruin someone's round in another way?
Will this interrupt someone's antag round?

Yes, you can absolutely be 100% certain someone is a changeling, by catching them draining somebody or seeing them transform. The AI is not designed to be a validhunter, your laws will very often force you to protect people who are probably antagonists.

Per the rules, if the AI suspects you are going to upload something harmful, it's not going to play ball. For the upload, if the person has access to the upload and you have no reason to suspect they're going to upload something harmful, you should let them in. That's not to say you can't have them ...
