Engineering was invalidated a long time ago. Any engine setup is you have power or you don't, even the turbine + solars can power the station with no risk of black outs. Only reason engineering is still around is space suits, tools and gloves.

Making the Stechkin into a Welrod Mk3 or what ever with an integrated silencer would be pretty cool, having to manually chamber rounds and cock it, can disassemble it to look like working tools.
