:salt: :salt: :salt: :salt: :salt: :salt: :salt: :salt: :salt: :salt: :salt: :salt: :salt: :salt: :salt: why would they be salt that escape pods exist? Because it's pretty obvious that they're upset that pods prevented them from denying some nerd a green text in a round. no. That's not true.

I've never seen anyone ever talk about it, but in a recent PR i looked at the improvised shotgun code and apparantly you can use cable coil on it to attach a sling, letting it be put on the back

Escape pods shouldn't exist
They serve no function other than granting powergaming tators their greentext. Even on rounds when evac is a bloodbath, many people still prefer to try to get to the shuttle because it's more fun. Escape pods are just a cheap powergaming tool. Forcing everyone onto the shuttle is a great design idea...

there's quite a few admins that aren't in favor of the idea of giving admin to people who ask because it sets a horribad precedent and if you ahelp "givve me admin" you're going to get your ahelp rejected because a. it's a retarded thing to ahelp and b. most of the admins aren't able to d...

Re: ID rehaul
The goal is just to make the game more interesting, and add a new way to do something. That's really the core of it. I'm not working on it right now. I just posted this to get the idea out there in case someone else wants to pick up this idea and make it.

Re: ID rehaul
The problem of things like telesci is that once a calculator is out, the meta is pretty much pushing buttons in a software outside the game. Congrats you gave a little challenge to a single coder, now that his tool/calculator is out in the wild, it is now a challenge for no one. this is a valid com...

I opened a PR to refactor blood yesterday but it got meme'd by the "BALANCE" police until freeze is over. TL;DR: Bleeding is incredibly arbitrary and you can bleed out in 30 seconds or 10 minutes depending on how your damage is distributed. Brute damage to a single body part exponentially...

I hate bloodloss with a burning passion. 1. Seperate issue, but latenight here in California frequently sees Basil and Sybil with a lack of admins. It's dumb because there can be like 40+ people on basil at these latenight times, and without admins it doesn't take long for chaos to ensue.

I've been trying to code this for a while but here's my basic idea: background Looking at things like telesci, I realized there are two types of 'barriers' that limit players from having access to certain things. That sounds vague, let me explain. There's the most common barrier, gameplay barriers. ...

If the syndies have a surgery table then how could it possibly be powergaming? Also: people rarely have enough time to get it implanted before the ops show up. Plasmamen aren't useless.
Plasmamen, the race thought by most people to be a useless 'hardmode', are actually a race that if played to their advantages can be very stronk. The game is designed and balanced around Humans and sometimes Lizardmen, so plasmeme balance is often forgotten. Because of this, plasmemes have a number ...
