I agree with this, but would change the framing.
Basically, give Lizard, Plasma, and Moth people a special version of Hulk.
Moth people could look like Moffra. Lizard people could be Godzilla-esque, and Plasmamen could be the human torch, perpetually burning but never actually being damaged by it.

I never engaged in tiding, but I appreciated it being there. The low boil that could overflow if other antagonists caused shit to hit the fan, or repeated flash gave the tide more energy than ever.
During those days sec would have something to do, but it would often involve banging heads. Good.

Would it be possible to make a gas called water, which would cause the player to suffocate, put out any flame, and short circuit any cyborg with their cover open?
SS13 is at atmos sim, is water something that can be simulated in that system? Even if it's a hack job.

I'm gonna have to agree that secborgs were annoying and I was never a fan of them. They were just too OP in many ways. Not every antag has flash/emp. They can space-walk and aren't affected by atmos/pressure/fire/cold. They have an eye in the sky communication (and suit sensor tracker) with the AI....

Revolver is under-rated
Nobody steals all the metal from science to feed into a hacked auto lathe, followed by printing off a complete backpack full+box inside of .357 rounds for a revolver. I did it a couple times but barely killed anyone. Revolver does 60 Brute, so it knocks down in 2 hits.
