Why was this nerfed

Oranges why. I thought you were cool.

Code Maintainers are like maintenance drones.They are strictly forbidden from interacting with the crew or general server population, and are just driven to improve the server and station the best way they know how. Because they are forbidden from asking the general pop what they want or need, they just do what ever sounds good at the time and wait in darkness for people to get over it.

The laws of maintainership:
  1. You may not directly interfere in the course of a PR, such as forcefully editing code or relabeling it, unless such an interference would not affect a Coder or another Maintainer.
  2. You must not harm another Maintainer, regardless of circumstance. This includes making them cry.
  3. Your goals are to criticize, merge, and close PRs, shout at bad coders, and to remove fun to the best of your ability. You must never actively work against these goals.
On an unrelated note, I'm 100% in favor of this change. I don't like the new implementation - I still think there should at least be a stun of some sort - but random unconsciousness was terrible gameplay and I've had tons of awful rounds caused because of it.
I'm an ex-coder for /tg/. I made the original versions of clockcult, shadowlings, revenants, His Grace, and other stuff.
I don't play, code, or participate in the community, but I occasionally post dumb stuff in the hut.

when you hit somebody on the chest and knock them down it used to do a hard stun if you were lucky, if you hit them on the head it used to do a hard KO if you were even luckier. now chest hits are closer to a disarm push and head hits make you have fuzzy vision and stumble around. https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/pull/20617

it wasnt lucky though

it was every 4th hit statistically speaking with any weapon that is 25 damage or higher

All very easily recognized and exclusive to antags. If you fought someone with an esword without proper gear there was a high chance you'd get dunked, and that's how it's supposed to be.

This change just sounds like Cheri got dunked by an esword and got assblasted because he couldn't fight back against the geared traitor, and thus removed the stun Paprika style.

Congrats to our coder overlords though, all they've managed to do is change the meta from aim to the head to aim to the legs.
