don't revert goofchem, with all the ODs you can put just about anything in oldsmoke to make it deadly. Addictions are round-crippling to the point where you're better off just killing yourself.

Flashes have an inhand sprite and few people carry them. The death injector does not and is inconspicuous.

furthermore the effects are all pretty fucking obvious

it should take like one poisoned individual before everyone knows it's rogue and then it's about 5 seconds from instant and uncounterable death at any one moment

There's also flashes you can procure from wall flashers with wirecutters. Robotics lab has a few lying around and can manufacture them at extremely low cost. I think there may be one or two in tech storage on some maps as well. It's not like they're ultra-rare, uncommon maybe but not rare by any stretch of the imagination.

Plus mediborgs have zero self-repair capability, not counting the self-repair module but that takes several minutes to repair even 30 force damage and as to be installed by a Human. Plus borgs straight up cannot repair from burn damage caused by harm intent welders and must visit a recharging station unless they have a very high capacity cell and/or being very stingy with their power - in which case you could wear the borg down by removing it's recharge sources or the assistants going full unga-bunga with welders on it.

Everything else in the game that's extremely deadly has big obvious DO NOT APPROACH UNLESS PREPARED warnings, like dualeswords or nop hardsuits. Not here buddy.

I thought we decided that chemicals were going to be bullshit retardedly overpowered and nearly uncounterable, and that if you get into melee range of a borg you're basically fucked in a single hit since engiborgs have a near infinite stunbaton arm and everything else can still easily one-hit you to stun or do absurd amounts of damage in a single hit in melee?
Also I have no problem fighting rogue mediborgs, just don't get hit, it's as easy as fighting every other rogue borg in that if you get hit with their emagged module you're probably fucked.
Borgs have been nerfed enough, it's fine as is, they don't need to be hit harder because some people can't handle dying to a borg in melee.

This is worse than the parasting complaints from back in the day.

Yes, the death chem combo can be insanely over powered. So is an E-Sword out of no where, a stun arm + Fire extinguisher combo, or all the other Emagged borg equipment.

And don't forget everyone has an epi-pen in their starting back pack box. Suddenly going into crit? Stick yourself with it, you'll be stuck in critical for a lot longer, and maybe get some medical aid. Use your PDA, send out a cry for help if you can't talk with that. Try to get to a crowded area with a lot of people. Even with general player apathy, you might be able to get someone to help. If you think a borg is rogue, avoid them. You move faster than they do unless they have a Vtec. You just need to make sure your nutriment levels are healthy. Don't know if the borg is Emagged? Examine it. There is an obvious sign on all borgs if they've been emagged or not.

These are all things you can do at the start of game without any equipment or gear. If you keep dying because of your own inability to stay aware to your surroundings and the players in it, obviously you need to Git Gud and stop dying to something you KNOW is incredibly lethal and should be avoided.

Doesn't the firesuit block syringes and hypos? It's not like they are rare or assistants are frowned upon wearing their tribal garb. This module is only powerful if you aren't prepared for it, which can be pretty much said of any antag.

Played as emaged mediborg for a few rounds and i have to say theyre really more of a "hit and run" sort of module. Cant heal on their own and stuns and poisons take a long god damn time and flashes arent THAT hard to come across. Also hard suit + ion gun= gg mediborg
