I think extended could be interesting if the players knew it was extended.

During a normal round I dont want to get invested in a big project only to have it all blown up 20 minutes in so in extended I end up milling about waiting for something to happen.

But if people knew it was extended and declared they were gonna colonize the asteroid today it could be fun.

Yeah, not knowing it's extended tends to put a damper on the round. It would be really great if it told you that it was specifically extended if it rolls it so you don't run around and autism up a bunch of gear instead of RPing.

If yall want a full out build round, just force an extended without secret. The whole point the 2% extended there is to put the doubt of powergaming in people's mind again.

Extended is more-so your queue to RP without getting stunned and killed. Part of the reason why I arm up myself every round is because of the shit state our combat is in where stuns are so prevalent. If we made it more lethal I'd totally be around more doing stuff instead of loading up on spears.

RP anyway, even if you do get stunned and killed. Eventually you get a reputation for being the sort of person that RPs things - and so people stun and kill you less. (Well, that or target you more, because you're an easier target...)

Yea, people are totally not going to prepare for antags when there's a 2% chance of it just being a shitty round with nothing to do.

Notifying people its extended is harmless I suppose but jesus just make it admin triggered. Random extended is just awful when there's no buttons being pressed anyway, best case scenario is you get some construction gimmick.
