Should emergency firesuits be near space immune?
Seems stupid to me. They are presssure immune and you can keep yourself alive with coffee/burn patches. Saw a dude fighting the blob for 15 minutes in space with just a firesuit.
It doesn't even have a self sealing helmet your face is exposed to open space.
I assume that its pressure immune because of high pressure in fires or something? Should just grant immunity to high pressure not low pressure but i dont think that is posssible

Would need to split the STOPSPRESSUREDAMAGE flags on clothing into high and low pressure, and fuck around in life.dm 'cause it's just a check, "if your suit has this flag, ignore pressure"
And then you'd need to edit the flags on every spacesuit that exists.
So entirely possible but a pain in the arse.

The guy fighting the blob reported that he was full of cryo chems from being left in the tube an exceedingly long time (even taking one beaker out and adding another!), which heals him at cold temperatures. THAT is why he was so effective, he had a very powerful heal working for him.

What I'd like to see if possible is semi space immunity for the atmos suits. Like just enough protection that they reduce a good portion of the damage from space but not enough to make them viable for patching up huge hull breaches and space exploration but good enough to go in and fix some moderate holes and stabilize the atmosphere instead of waiting for the engineers or the one asshole who always fucks off with the atmos hardsuit
