What features from other codebases and servers would you like to see on TG and why?

Personally I'd like to see the Vampire antag from goonstation, because he seems a funny less dickish version of the shadowling with a more interesting mechanic.

Baymed I can live without, since it turned into give everyone one 3 super effective meds that were easy to make.

ZAS would be amazing to have back. Open an airlock and watch shit fling out into space from across the room. My first SS13 kill was opening an airlock as someone was suiting up in it, knocking them on their ass and dropping their mask for it to fly out in space.

Weirdly goons lighting is something I despise, their entire map is gloomy to the point eye strain inducing. Plus I'm too lazy to bother learning new jobs and map layouts to put the effort into getting used to the lighting

If you give someone with IB/a collapsed lung/three broken ribs a bottle of bicaridine/tricord and send them on their way, they're probably not going to make it out of Medical foyer. It's so complicated, it goes all the way past "bad" and into "good" again.

I like the "not being able to see behind yourself" thing that some servers have and LW. People can actually creep up on people and such. Gives a nice little final touch to sightlines

Always having to turn around to see what's behind you gets a little annoying, but yeah. It's pretty cool. Would help with re-education interrogation if they could only see space in-front of them and just hear things behind them.

What about a dumbed down version of baymed? Like breaking ribs but without the puncture lungs.

Go big or go home. It'll teach people to be more cautious and less "gotta get my valids" (since being shot in the head with a revolver puts you in Medical for a long time). People will value their lives more, and other peoples', and so they'll be less aggressive and rounds will last longer.

That's kind of the idea though?
If people are going to get cucked for 20 minutes because trying to validsalad the e-sword/revolver traitor with disarms and a welding tool, maybe they'll think twice before doing it.

That or they'll just tell the doc to kill and clone them.

As a side note, I wish unupgraded cloning was more "hazardous" with very high chances of disabilities and health conditions. Hell, I wouldn't mind if speed cloning gives the patient fucked up organs requiring medical intervention to correct. At the minute, a competent doc can just pop someone in cloning for a literal minute, pop them out, defib them, put 'em in cryo/under a cold shower with crox, feed them mannitol and they're back to robusting capacity.

Just feels like there isn't a lot of consequence to dying, except the loss of implants/augmentations which the average law-abiding spaceman rarely possesses.

I think it's implied that if a change like this happened, it wouldn't leave cloning as is.
