Silicons aren't people

Post by srifenbyxp » #183956

Can a silicon pass the turing test? They're played by human players so does that mean the AI is truly people?
To be robust is not about combat prowess, it is the state of readiness for the situation at hand.

Turing test is that the AI is indistinguishable from a normal human, keyword being normal

They have brain inside, meaning they have soul, so they are people.

Spessmen don't behave like functional human beings.
Their default solution to everything is murder, memes, ERP and cannibalism. Not necessarily in that order.

The lore of the AI is that it isn't real artificial intelligence but just human brains stolen and subjected to laws, so I don't know that the turing test applies

They are [TECHNOBABBLE] positronic quantum constructs drawing from constant Boltzmann brain population in casual parallel Minkowski space using closed timelike curve of Schwarzschild wormhole maintained by a bluespace interface [/TECHNOBABBLE]

If you can't tell the difference between a positronic brain and a spessmen, did the brain pass the Turing test, or did the spessmen fail it?
P.S. Shoot Dr. Allen on sight and dissolve his body in acid. Don't burn it.
