Public Apology to Shodansbreak/Helios and short history lesson.

I have been vocal lately about an incident in the past that has unfortunately, through means entirely my fault, resulted in aspersions on the character of another player of this server. I'm going to use this thread to try to clarify the incident and apologize to them. My memory isn't photographic, it's more like "hastily drawn doodle on a coffee shop napkin", but to the best of my knowledge, these events are accurate, and I welcome anyone who also has memory of these events to come forward.

Some years ago on this server, there was a player by the name of Helios127. At the time, I was an "player advocate", a meaningless position meant to talk to players who felt wronged by the admin team and act as a go-between and try to help reconcile differences and get the players unbanned. I did not really do much, because it was a pretty dumb idea in the first place and no one ever asked me to do anything, except Helios127, who constantly messaged me telling me to "go tell the admins to poon that poon", whatever the fuck that meant.

Some time later, I was browsing my tumblr dashboard looking for pornography when I came across a reblog by my friend. It was a callout post being signal boosted levied at Helios127. It provided evidence and accused him of cyberstalking an underage girl for years, doxing her, and attempting to get Kiwifarms to "raid" her. I felt the need to let the community know what kind of behavior Helios127 was involved in outside of the forums, and made a thread here about it. Helios127 attempted to defend himself but was told, pretty unanimously, to fuck off and get mental help.

Some years later, a new player joined the community under the name "TheClownsPocket." TheClownsPocket did nothing on the forums but shitpost, literally. He would constantly go into threads and post about his desire for the coders to "add poo to the game." My recollection on what happened next is hazy, but, as is the usual for this community, there was a bubble of drama that happened, and a member of server staff, whose identity escapes me at this moment, revealed that TheClownsPocket was actually Helios127, who, despite being blacklisted under that identity, petitioned the server team to be allowed back under a different identity "to prevent harassment" for his "prior mistakes." This blew up into a huge shitshow with everyone calling the staff in question a bunch of fucking morons and Helios127/Theclownspocket being run out of the community again.

This leads us to the present time, where, unfortunately, my recollection of these events has caused harm to another, unrelated players reputation. Helios/Shodansbreak, to the best of my knowledge, has no relation to Helios127/TheClownsPocket, and was not even a member of the community at the time of these events. My fuckup was in referring to Helios127 as just "Helios", as I have a bad memory and frequently forget whether his username was "Helios127" or "Helios137." Helios/Shodansbreak, I'm sorry for any distress my actions have caused you and if anyone levels any accusations at you or maligns your character based on what I said, please let me know so I can tell them it was my fault and that you're not a shitter. Mea culpa, dude.

I was confused when I saw helios back but before I took my blunderbuss off the wall and went cyberhunting I asked someone and they said it wasn't him so I sat in my chair and polished it for a while shaking my fist at the sky instead which didn't feel quite as good as shooting a poostalker but felt just fine too
