If you're talking specifically about the aux base
Honestly I just siphon air from the station's distro and put it into a small, walled off room with a vent set to internal pressure, 0 and a scrubber set to syphon in the same room leading into an air filter and air mixer to get the ration of N2 and O2 right. Not very pretty but it works.

How would multipipes help? I'm honestly curious since I've never used them and they aren't really documentation on the wiki.kevinz000 wrote:>not using multipipes which I spent 3 months on

you can use transit tiles more effectively by having all the pipes run through them

Your Aux Base had no walls, so it would have been funny to see someone drop it down to Lavaland! Speaking of Lavaland, you can knock out a corner wall and stick a scrubber there to let you suck in the outside air, essentially creating an air compressor inside the base. It is great for expansions.

Re: What's the smallest Atmos setup you can make?
Good suggestions. I did some adjusting, mocking up the walls of the area to make sure I actually could fit it in there and have a somewhat more compact setup which can also refill itself. I probably should add a valve on the intake for the air from lavaland so it won't eventually overload the system with air after a while, and just manually turn it on when it needs recharging.
