Can anyone explain to me why there are lizards as a playable race on the server?

What purpose does this server other than to cause conflict and division?

Was there a vote? Who decided this, and who is able to make a change regarding it's stay?

If I recall the addition of Lizards as a playable race came from a minor PR that had about 5 comments on it.

You must journey to the highest mountain in the land, and speak to the old, bearded lizard atop it. From there, he will send you on a quest to the mines to fetch a spider egg. From there you must make an omelette. From there, you must single-handedly invent quantum fusion, build a rocket, and jettison yourself into the deepest portions of space imaginable. Only in this way will lizards be removed.
