Secborgs weren't a huge problem themselves, it was a policy issue

Yes, I lost as a Lich because I put my phylactery in a toolbox and the game threw a bitchfit at me for doing it and didn't rez me.

I think AI should be expanded to have more functions, such being able to be put into bots, or having targeting controls found on turret interfaces transferred to the wall turret controller. I would also like the AI to have the option of being a mobile shell. Either that, or allow holopads to be upgraded such that holograms become solid, and able to pick things up within range of the pad.

I like to roleplay. As an antag. Sutbly. I occasionally even fail on purpose in order to add spice to a round. I believe in including others in my fun, or even sacrificing my own fun for the fun of others.

This is why I gave krav to the warden even when sec didn't necessarily need it, this is why I hate the AI/secborg but like other borgs, this is why I think singulo > tesla, etc

I think it's okay to get salty when you die, but you still need to accept dying as a part of the game and take it as it comes. Doing only the safest things all the time is boring and if it ever gets bad enough I genuinely believe it will kill the game

I think the root problem is actually players who will act on incomplete information in bad faith because it gives them an excuse to ruin someone's round, then scream "NO SPECIFIC RULE" when admins take them to task.

I think we should empower admins as a group to deliver more rule 0 bans for people just playing to take away other's fun. Mind you, that's as a group, not individually. Individual admins can be unreliable, but if you don't trust the admins as a group you should really just play on a different server. Ban people who act in bad faith and people will trust their fellow players enough not to blame them and scream OMG HE WAS WRONG BAN HE + ADD ANTAG TEST.


...At least that's my theory.



On topic: I think death shouldn't be viewed as a "punishment"; it's right there in the rules that death is part of playing the game, and we shouldn't be punishing people for playing the game.
